Welcome to “Republic of Comedy”, the new international comedy club in Lisbon’s growing comedy scene! Bringing shows with the best local and international comedians at Xafarix, a historic venue tucked away in the heart of the city. This week we are proud to feature ADRIENNE IAPALUCCI!
Adrienne Iapalucci has spent over twenty years perfecting the art of saying the worst possible thing in the best possible way. Her Netflix special The Dark Queen, directed by Louis CK and produced by Ari Shaffir, lives up to its name—dark, sharp, and ruthlessly funny. She was also featured on The Degenerates Season 2, where one of her jokes made their Best of 2020 Stand-Up compilation.
A Bronx native and Comedy Cellar regular, Adrienne delivers her material with the kind of deadpan cool that makes you laugh before you’ve fully processed what she just said. She’s appeared on The Late Show with David Letterman, NBC’s Last Comic Standing, and performed a featured set at Louis C.K.’s Madison Square Garden special in 2023. You’ve probably also heard her on The Joe Rogan Experience, Your Mom’s House, Tiger Belly, or Matt and Shane’s Secret Podcast.
